Coopera partners with credit unions of all sizes throughout the country, as well as with national and international credit union systems, to help credit unions grow by reaching and serving the Hispanic community. Coopera is owned by Affiliates Management Company, holding company of the Iowa Credit Union League, and is a strategic alliance partner of the Credit Union National Association.

We are currently seeking to fill our Market Research Internship to assist us with various marketing, research and administrative support responsibilities. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Communications or a related field. Candidates should be willing to work part-time for 20 hours during the week with the option to continue into the summer as full-time. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a market research project and assist in data compilation and interpretation
  • Maintain the online client resources library by uploading, filing and managing content.
  • Provide administrative and client support by organizing and creating new files/documentation.
  • Update internal marketing and business development materials as needed
  • Help with project management by implementing, on-boarding and encouraging team to use online project management website. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
 

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, data analytics, communications or related field.
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with little supervision; effectively prioritize work and manage time between multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and other software solutions.
  • Passionate about working with and serving the Hispanic community.
  • Collaborative individual with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Bi-cultural or familiarity with Hispanic culture.
